The areas that matter most
Each review provides a detailed, independent evaluation of how well we meet the expectations set out in the DfE National Standards for Alternative Provision along with individual local authority requirements — and each review is an opportunity to demonstrate the strength of our practice. These reviews explore the areas that matter most:
- Safeguarding and welfare - ensuring young people are safe, supported and protected.
- Leadership and governance - showing that our decisions, oversight and accountability are strong.
- Quality of education and therapeutic support - confirming that our curriculum, interventions and therapeutic pathways are effective and purposeful.
- Staff expertise and development - demonstrating that our team is skilled, trained and continually learning.
- Premises, health and safety - ensuring our environments are safe, welcoming and fit for therapeutic work.
- Outcomes and impact - evidencing the progress young people make academically, socially and emotionally.
The Dare2Dream Foundation met all requirements in full, reaffirming our position as a high-performing, well-governed and trusted provider of therapeutic alternative provision.
