For more than 13 years, Dare2Dream has been committed to supporting children and young people who face barriers to education, wellbeing and personal development. Every day, our colleagues deliver life-changing interventions that help young people rediscover confidence, reconnect with learning and realise their potential.
Across the country, increasing numbers of children and young people require specialist support to access education and achieve positive outcomes. Behind every statistic is a young person, a family and a unique story. This award acknowledges the collective impact of our work in helping those young people move forward with confidence and hope.
Addressing a growing need
Across the UK, increasing numbers of children and young people are struggling to access education that meets their needs. Many face challenges within mainstream settings, while others are still waiting for the right support and understanding.
Behind every statistic is a young person with unique strengths, aspirations, and potential.
Our mission has always been to help those young people reconnect with learning, build confidence, develop resilience, and achieve their goals. Through therapeutic support, education programmes, mentoring, and specialist interventions, we strive to create meaningful opportunities for children and young people to thrive.
Today, our teams deliver over 1,000 purposeful therapeutic support sessions every week, while our dedicated Post-16 tutors provide personalised educational support that helps young people progress towards positive futures.

Winning the National Impact Award is a reflection of the passion, expertise, and commitment demonstrated by every member of the Dare2Dream team. From frontline practitioners and tutors to operational and support colleagues, each individual plays a vital role in creating positive outcomes for children and young people.
The award also recognises the trust placed in us by schools, local authorities, commissioners, families, and partner organisations. Collaboration remains at the heart of everything we do, and we are grateful for the opportunity to work alongside so many people who share our commitment to improving lives.
The Alterna Prestige Awards brought together organisations and professionals from across the Alternative Provision sector who are dedicated to making a difference for children and young people.
It was inspiring to celebrate the achievements of so many individuals and organisations whose work is helping to raise the profile of Alternative Provision and demonstrate the life-changing impact it has every day.
We would like to extend our thanks to the organisers and everyone involved in creating such a memorable event.
