Ecotherapy is an alternative form of support for vulnerable and at risk young people offering them the opportunity to flourish whilst improving their physical and mental health.It is offered as part of our One2One intervention programmes.
Children and young people can excel when spending time outside. Balancing therapeutic activity and reflection, it can reach a young person in ways that are long-lasting and life changing.
Our ecotherapy sessions may include activities such as:
- Animal assisted interventions
- Animal assisted therapy
- Care Farming
- Green exercise therapy
- Nature arts and crafts
- Social and therapeutic horticulture
Delivering on our ecotherapy programme we have qualified therapists and outdoor educators building consistent and strong relationships.
