Outdoor Education Assistant – Coventry (Coombe Abbey Country Park)

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of an outdoor land based qualification alongside the course tutor. This role requires experience of working with children/young people and experience of Autism, “BESD”, working with children with challenging behaviours. You need to have experience of working outside, ideally have teaching skills/qualifications.

You will care passionately about each child as an individual, be able to observe and listen and then respond to advice. You will be able to implement strategies for raising achievement. You will be supportive, resilient and unconditionally accepting. You will be confident and happy to work in an outdoor environment using your own initiative to support the young person on the land based programme.

Job Type: Part time (30 hours per week), term time only

Mental Health & Wellbeing Practitioner – Warwickshire or Oxfordshire

Delivering bespoke programmes to vulnerable children and/or young people on a 1:1 basis with the aim of enhancing their mental health and social, emotional wellbeing.

We are seeking to appoint professionally registered, qualified Counsellors with experience of working with children and young people.

We are looking to appoint those with demonstrable understanding of the developmental, emotional, social and educational issues affecting young people from diverse backgrounds aged 4 to 18+.
